Shipping Information

Essential Oils of Topeka ships all orders UPS or USPS. Every product we ship is packed according to shipping standards and insured for the value of the product. Since we ship according to standards all shipping claims will be brought directly to UPS. Please contact us with any questions regarding this. See Shipping Damages for more information.
All orders shipped within US State are subject to Kansas State Sales Tax which will be automatically calculated into your grand total.
We also use USPS Priority Mail on phone orders. However there is no tracking number for these packages.
We strive to ship our products within 1-2 business days. If an order is placed early in a business day it usually ships out same day. If a partial order is shipped separately or backordered you will be emailed with additional tracking numbers or notified of the backorder date and when the item is expected to ship.
Orders will not be processed on weekends or holidays.
As soon as your product has been shipped you will be sent an email containing the tracking number. You can also track your shipping in order tracking on our website. This will allow you to track your product quickly and easily over the internet or by phone.

Refund Policy:

We will refund the purchase price (not including shipping & handling) for any item returned that does not meet your expectations as long as the item has not been damaged due to normal use.

Shipping Damages:

All products are inspected before being shipped, but damages may occur during shipping. If product is received damaged, it must be reported to the shipping company – usually UPS or USPS – within 24 hours. All boxes and packing material must be saved. It is possible that the shipping company may want to inspect these materials. Please notify us of the damage after you have reported the claim to the shipping company. Upon receiving credit from the carrier, the product will be re-shipped.
Of course if the incorrect product is shipped, or the product is defective, we will correct it.

Sales Tax:

Kansas– 8.95% (If there is no sales tax, please remove)

 

Return and Shipping

Delivery:  See our shipping page for the estimated UPS/USPS ship time to your area. Please do not miss your delivery. If the carrier is unable to make delivery for any circumstance other than our error, you will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping your package. Any packages returned to us due to customer refusing delivery will be billed for the shipping charges incurred, plus a 20% restocking fee unless refused due to an error on our part.

Damaged Shipments:  If your package does not arrive in acceptable condition, DO NOT ACCEPT it from the carrier. If you accept the damaged package from the courier you may be responsible for the return UPS or USPS shipping cost. Contact UPS at 1-800-PICK-UPS (742-5877) IMMEDIATELY if there is any damage, spillage or breakage -- they may return to pick the package up. Contact us as well so that we can open up a claim and track its progress. All packages typically leave our warehouse in good condition, but damages can still occur, even during transit. Oftentimes, a portion of the package is delivered and the damaged items thrown out. In this case please contact us for a claim and to reship the damaged items. Other times, the entire package may have been damaged, discarded or returned. In these instances, we will reship another package and open up a claim. Any reimbursements if applicable will follow a few days later, usually once the claim is closed.

Returns: Essential oils are not returnable under any circumstances, unless shipped by error on our part.This policy is non-negotiable. We encourage you to sample our fine fragrances first to assure your complete satisfaction. This policy is for your protection so we can ensure the high quality of our products. With this policy in effect, you can rest assured that the products you buy from us have not been contaminated by any outside sources.  All other merchandise returns accepted only within 7 days of receipt. Returns must be approved, please call or e-mail sales@essentialoilsoftopeka.com for authorization. Unless our error, a 25% restocking fee will apply to all returns of NON-fragrance oil items to cover credit card fees, labor incurred, etc and 75% restocking fee will be charged to unauthorized returns of fragrance oils to cover the same as well as the now unusable fragrance oils. Approved returned merchandise must be received in proper packaging and in good condition to be accepted. IF ITEMS ARE NOT RECEIVED IN RE-SALEABLE CONDITION, THEY MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED.  Unless due to an error on our part, customer is responsible for shipping on all returns. In-store credit only, no cash refunds are given unless shipment was our error. Do not send new orders with returned items for an exchange! Doing so might delay your order, as returns are unpacked in the order they are received. You will be notified when we receive your return, and then you can use that store credit on a new order.

Specials/Returns: No substitutes are given on sale items. If any of the desired scents are currently out of stock, you will be asked to choose an alternate. If any sale items are out of stock, a rain check will not be given.

Wholesale: The prices listed on our product pages are below wholesale, we do offer certain price breaks on larger quantities.  If you are interested in bulk quantities, or special order items, please feel free to contact us at Bulk Order Request or call 785-354-4284.

Warranties: Essential Oils Of Topeka.com makes no warranties, expressed or implied, as to the suitability of any certain product for use in secondary products or the actual results of its use in any such products. EOT expressly disclaims any and all liability resulting from the use of these products in any secondary products produced thereby. It is common in our industry for occasional variances to occur in products such as waxes and fragrances, therefore slight adjustments to your formulas/methods may be needed at times.
